Is it possible to automatically rotate the right joystick using a single input?

Hi I remember seeing discussion a couple years back on here about possibly being able to automatically rotate the joystick using a single input and was wondering if anyone ever got it working so I can automate rotating the right joystick continuously while holding a single input. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
