Windows PCs have native support for XBox controllers, not Playstation controllers. There are ways to finagle the PC to work with non-XBox controllers but the easiest way is to use the XBox 360 emulation.
You can also install ViGEmBus and have QMP convert the Quadstick's PS4 controller into an XBox controller, but the quickest way to get you going will be to load the Fortnitepc.csv file instead of the ps4 one.
Playing PC games with the quadstick emulating a controller is usually worth it for aim-assist and simpler screen prompts. Mouse and keyboard modes typically do not have those things.
