Here is a list gamer tags on various gaming platforms of Quadstick users.  You can add yourself to this spreadsheet.

How to request help with a game configuration spreadsheet:

First, search the forum for the game name to see what others have already written about it.

One of the problems in answering questions regarding how to make a custom configuration file is a lack of context with respect to the user's situation and goals.  This is an attempt at a checklist of the information needed in order to help you without a prolonged exchange of questions and answers:

1. The URL of the spreadsheet.  Not the contents of the CSV file.  Make sure to Share the spreadsheet so others can view it ("Download with QMP" will do this automatically)
   
2. The full name of the game.
   
• Call of Duty Ghosts is a different game than Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.  They are published by different companies and have different control layouts.
3. The Platform
   
4. If PC, then the distributor (Steam, Origin, Uplay, etc)
5. If using a CronusMax
• Connection method
• Partial Crossover
• Full Crossover
• PCPROG port
6. Third party equipment or software:
• UltraStik 360
• Tobii EyeGaze
• Mouse, trackball or touchpad.
• Project IRIS
• X-AIM
7. QMP version being used.
• Using voice commands?
  

Common issues:

1. Old spreadsheet scripts.  The new Google add-on for Quadstick is now available and replaces the old "QuadStick" menu commands. 
   
2. Old firmware.  Make sure you are running at least the latest non-test firmware.
3. Old QMP.  Versions earlier than 3.0 will not work anymore.

Fred why is this no longer pinned at the top of forum ?

Google deprecated that feature when they "improved" google groups to make it simpler.    Huge mistake as far as I am concerned.   New users are left without any guidance.

I'm open to suggestions for moving to other forums.  We have a subreddit that was set up by Steamy Biscuit.  They have sticky posts.  Discord or other forums that the cool kids are using could be looked at.

To make the move, this group would probably have to be locked, so it could be searched but new posts could not be added.   The final top message could direct users to the new forum.    I haven't found any service that will import all the old messages that doesn't come with a monthly bill.

What about installing one of those open source forum softwares on your quadstick.com server?

I use squarespace for the main site and they no longer offer a forum function.  It would have to be something that takes zero time and effort.  I don't have the bandwidth to take on another programming project.

Google breaking what did not need fixing, what muppets I'm with Aramis, discord is far from intuitive sub-Reddit should be better.

Reddit has my vote, as being searchable with a web browser and acting like a forum, which I think is what we're talking about. We already have/had a discord, and it's a ghost town.

Also, I don't want an instant help scenario. We are basically volunteers. I get enough of that at my job.

Fred, since you can't pin threads anymore can you add links to important topics in the description at the very top?

Up where it says "Welcome to the QuadStick user forum. The purpose of this forum is product support and the sharing of user generated QuadStick profiles for specific games and tasks."

Just an idea for a workaround.

I found it.  Unfortunately Google does not allow editing of old posts.  I cannot fix the link.   The link should be:

But the easiest way to get the Add-on is to make a copy of an existing configuration spreadsheet and it will have the add-on listed with an Install menu.  Click on Extensions->Quadstick->Install.  If Install is not there, it is already installed.
