Controller emulation not working

Hi, i've been trying to use the contrroller emulation on the new qmp program with everything properly installed but it just doesn't work and i've even tried uninstalling qmp along with hidhide and vigembus and reintalling it and after all that there's still no response in games that have controller support even disconnecting and reconnecting the quadstick does nothing to fix the issue, i have the quadstick connected to a powerred 3.0 usb hub and does  somebody know if the quadstick has to be directly connected to the pc instead of the usb hub for it to work? i attached some screenshots of the settings i have on everything and i NEVER open hidhide and quadstick at the same time and i've also shared my default csv profile

Nearly all PC games that support controllers will support the virtual XBox controller.  Very few games will support the virtual DS4 emulation.  That is mainly for PS Remote Play.

HIDHide is seldom necessary, only if the game acts like it is responding to two controllers.  If the game sees the quadstick directly, there might not be any need for a virtual controller in the first place.   HIDHide would never be needed for PS Remote play.

Disable or uninstall HIDHide until you have a problem that requires it.  If you install/uninstall HIDHide, it is important to reboot the computer.

Remove this line from the Preferences sheet:

enable_DS3_emulation

0=Normal PS3 mode, 1=DS3 emulation, 2=X360CE mode, 3=XB360 emulation, 4=PS4, 5=Nintendo Switch

The quadstick is already in the correct emulation mode.   Setting it just interferes with the logic of the quadstick determining what it is plugged into  (PS4, PS3, PC, Mac, etc).  Mode 4 is special in that it can morph into other emulation modes depending on the host. 

You don't mention the game or the gaming store, but if it is Steam, there are controller settings for Steam that can affect how games see controllers, including disabling them.  Other stores may have similar settings.

So, turn on the xbox emulation, leave QMP running in the background, and see if you have better luck.

sorry forget to mention the games and platforms i use i play games on steam, cod on battle.net and fortnite with epic's launcher, okay so  Remove the line from the Preferences sheet and uninstalled hidhide and the emulation works fine but now i can't use the touchpad for some reason any idea why?

XBox controllers do not have a touchpad.

If a game on a PC is XBox controller compatible, there will be settings to do whatever the touchpad was doing with something else.
