I did set up a server a while back:  https://discord.gg/7zqjxxND  but it hasn't been used.  Contact SteamyBiscuit.  I think he uses Discord frequently.

I'd be willing to make someone an admin for that server if they wanted to operate it.

I set up this google group just because it was what I was familiar with at the time, in 2014.  Maybe it is time to move on. 

If everyone wanted to move over to a Discord chat, I'd figure it out somehow.  Just glancing at it I've always found it confusing.

im involved in about 3 discord involving qs comunnity but none really committed  , i wouldn't mind having an official one if Dan is willing to join :D

I will help, in whatever discord people choose. We could set up the channels with the pins, maybe a bot to answer the common questions.

I know that Google groups is janky, but I like having these messages stored. I still go to the search bar and look through old conversations every now and again when I need to remember some QS discussion.

I dislike Discord, maybe i am to old for it.

Maybe it is my fault but i think handicaped people like to be alone. Steamy is one user that i watch sometime and we talk a bit. Thats it. I found the QS community is not talkhappy over the QS itself. Some people DEMAND my profiles and i was happy to share but not anymore to demanding people. You give them a profile and off they go. Some even hate you when my profile don't work for them. I am willing to help but only when i see that those people are willing to show some effort to learn. Anyway, the discord link dont work anymore but i will give it another try.

The discord is set up now. I put in a simple bot. We can make it do more stuff if you want, Fred. You have admin, of course, if you want to add more channels or however you are thinking it should be.

We have 21 people here, so I think it's working for some people. Try pasting that link directly into your discord pc program. And please let me know if anyone else has that problem.

The link needs to get updated every week. Fred, we can dynamically place this somewhere. Where do you prefer it to go? I was thinking, we could hook it up so that your website always has the right invitation.
