PC Game Suggestions

Hey all,

Just thought I would reach out and see what PC games you would suggest or recommend?

I'm into pretty much anything, spent 100's of hours playing The Witcher series, even more on Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War (a new game like those would be awesome), Cyberpunk, RE 2, 7 and Village, COD series, Doom series, Wolfenstein series, Sekiro (found very difficult), Fifa 21 (difficult to play to full extent because I found it hard to do tricks, special moves etc.), Batman series, NFS series.

What PC games have you guys really enjoyed and spent heaps of hours playing?

Thanks Fred, that's heaps of play time!  Looks interesting and not what I would expect from Half-Life developers.

It's not a first person shooter.  It's more of a puzzle solving game, but with a lot of humor in the main game where an evil AI (GLaDOS) is constantly trying to kill you, or at least make you feel bad.  People can make their own puzzles and publish them (The Perpetual Testing Initiative) and there are tens of thousands.  I play it a little bit every night.

I like games with a certain athmosphere to them, like part of the AC series AC 1-2, Brotherhood, Revelations, Origins and Odyssee but my all time favourit was and is AC Black Flag where i really enjoy the sailing part! Arrrrgh, you using a QS Capt'n? Great! Thx to the QS i play it right now. I struggle in fps games with guns and fast paced games, thats why i prefer more melee games. What i like is GTA 4 and 5, i played that a lot and started to make my own profile but didn't tested it so far. I also got a profile for Hell let loose and i am good as a tank driver but i suck on foot. I do play L. A. Noire fairly good, slow paced gun action is ok for me and i am a good driver. And i still love Skyrim.

On the other hand i like sport games like NHL, sadly console only, Fifa and 2k NBA 21. I got NBA but didn't tried it so far. I also like a bit of racing in Assetto Corsa, brilliant game with a lot of mods. If i wanna relax i play American Trucksimulator or old style Adventures like DoT reworked. In the olden glory days i played a a lot Adventures. What i also enjoy are jump-n-run games but not stuff like Sonic or Rayman. Abes Odyssee New and tasty is great fun, even Soulstorm is beside his weaknises ok. I suggest to anybody to play Typoman! A brilliant independent game, very very playable!

I play since 2014 Elite Dangerous online with a bunch of international people and i still play the game with the QS. Beside it flaws and lack of story i am still flashed by the view and sheer size of i galaxy with 400 bil of stars, our galaxy is tremeandous.

For the future? I start with my to do list.

GTA 4 and 5

Cyberpunk because you can do almost the whole game very sneaky and i love it!

For the future i want Star Citizen, more games like Cyberpunk, GTA 6, a new Skyrim!!! Games like portal and NHL for PC. More games with in-build barrier free modes or helps, but not to give me an unfair advantage. Tools for a reasonable prices like Logitechs Adaptive gaming kit where you get 12 switches or buttons for 100 quid, or the stuff warfighter Engaged is offering. There shouldn't be any reasons why all sorts of handycaped poeple shouldn't be able to play on a competitive note! Look at DanNH! If not for fun? I thought after my heavy backdraw last year that gaming is impossible for me. But i fought myself back and found the QS. Boundaries? Only a few, beside my own imagination ;-)

Been playing Horizon Zero Dawn... it's tough but fun. I've sunk the most hours into Skyrim (700+) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (200+). No Mans Sky is pretty fun too if you like exploring and crafting type games.

I had plenty of fun playing assassins Creed Valhalla, Just like you, The Witcher 3 was absolutely fantastic for me so re-playable. Especially when you discover you missed out so many things only to finish it again and still find out there were so many more things :-)

There is supposed to be a special edition coming out later in the year enhanced to play on NexGen consoles can't wait the graphics will be insane

Hi Glenn

Was wondering if I could rack your brain with regards to playing Wolfenstein New Order which I think you have played.

Very early on you need to get the character off a plane by sprint sliding under a nasty mechanical dog which is left analogue up, left stick down, and pressing B

I thought this would work Wolfenstein L Ultrastick Xbox - Google Sheets but I just cannot get the sprint side to work.

Am I wrong to think that greater than 99 on the left analogue up would trigger the left stick down am I wrong?

Try a lower value than 99 in case the ultrastik does not fully reach 100.

Turn on one of the green leds with the same logic to see when the sprint should be active:

digital_out_1, greater_than 90, usb_1_up

Hi Sean,

That part of the game is terrible and sliding I found was a bit hit and miss with QS as controller, easier with the QS as keyboard/mouse.

I have found that if I want to double up outputs for the US360 I have to have the value set to greater_than 50

Also for just that part of the game I made a special config sheet with the following because that early on I hadn't figured out the greater_than 50 for the US360, here's what I did just for the sliding section

left_joy_up

normal

usb_1_up

Move Forward

left_stick

normal

mp_center_puff

Sprint

B

greater_than 99

mp_center_puff

Hi Glen

Thanks for getting back to me, yes managed to get through by ditching the Ultrastick as a left analogue and just using the quadstick as a left analogue and it worked with the same values which was weird.

So think its an ultrastick quirk not the quadstick

Going to do what you did and copy your special config sheet, much obliged.
