Always include the URL for any spreadsheet when requesting help with it.

Without additional context it is not possible to help you.   The type of information needed is listed in the top post of the forum.

How to request help with a game configuration spreadsheet:

First, search the forum for the game name to see what others have already written about it.

One of the problems in answering questions regarding how to make a custom configuration file is a lack of context with respect to the user's situation and goals.  This is an attempt at a checklist of the information needed in order to help you without a prolonged exchange of questions and answers:
  1. The URL of the spreadsheet.  Not the contents of the CSV file.  Make sure to Share the spreadsheet so others can view it
  2. The full name of the game.
    • Call of Duty Ghosts is a different game than Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.  They are published by different companies and have different control layouts.
  3. The Platform
  4. If PC, then the distributor (Steam, Origin, Uplay, etc)
  5. Third party equipment or software:
    • UltraStik 360
    • Tobii EyeGaze
    • Mouse, trackball or touchpad.
    • Project IRIS
    • X-AIM
  6. QMP version being used.
    • Using voice commands?

Common issues:

  1. Old spreadsheet scripts.  The new Google add-on for Quadstick is now available and replaces the old "QuadStick" menu commands.
  2. Old firmware.  Make sure you are running at least the latest non-test firmware.
  3. Old QMP.  Versions earlier than 3.0 will not work anymore.

Your spreadsheet downloaded ok for me.  It must something else.

When you start QMP, do you see something like this:

Version: 4.04
QuadStick drive letter: F:
Loaded preferences OK
QuadStick Game Controller interface successfully opened
opened virtual XBox gamepad
Retrieved 294 game files
Retrieved 24 voice files

?

Is HIDHide installed? Uninstall it.  Reboot.
Is ReWASD installed?  It is known to cause trouble with the Quadstick, sometimes.

Restart your system, try to do a download and send in a debug report.

How to send in a debugging report with QMP:
  1. Plug the Quadstick into the PC
  2. Start QMP
  3. Wait 20 seconds
  4. Perform the operation that is giving you trouble.
  5. Click in the Transcript pane at the bottom of the window.
  6. Press F1 key
  7. Answer prompt to send in the debugging report
  8. EXIT QMP.  Ignore any error message.
  9. Send me an email so I know to go look for the report.

Just to be clear, you are still talking about "Error in csv_files_dropped: OSError(22, 'Invalid argument')" ?

QMP is seeing the Quadstick's flash drive OK.  It reads the firmware version and the list of CSV files that are currently installed in the Quadstick, so it is seeing the flash drive.

Looking at the spreadsheets you are trying to download, I see a few errors, but I don't think they would cause an OSError.

Red marks in the corners of cells indicate an error.  Columns A through J are all reserved.  The first column that can be used for comments is K.  C through J can only have the names of inputs.  Column C is usually the only one with content, but the other must be remain blank.  They are part of the seldom used movement recognition mode.  Columns K and beyond can have anything you want as a comment since the Quadstick ignores them.

Again, I don't think this is causing the OSError  message, it is just something that should be cleaned up eventually.

The message log did not come through on the debug report.  Let's try to manually send it.  Send it only to me, not the forum.

Reproduce the error, then exit QMP.  The message log will be ready to attach to an email.  The log is stored at this location:
"C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\quad_stick_log_file.txt"

To send the QMP message log, do this:
  1. In Gmail, create a reply or new email to me.
  2. Click on the attachment button (paperclip)
  3. Copy the exact string below, including the quote marks, into the File name: field of the File upload window:
    • "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp\quad_stick_log_file.txt"
  4. Click Open.
  5. Send me the email.
Hopefully the log will contain the reason you are seeing the error message.  I was able to download the configuration files you are using without trouble.
