This happened before, but I can't find the solution.  I don't have any USB 2.0 ports on the system.  I've had this system about 19 months or so and it works a long time in a USB 3.0 port, until today.  I also noticed that all my colors inside my case all changed back to the default colors.  And now the mouse freezing has started up again.

I have no idea how it got fixed last time.  I've tried everything on the Internet and here.

If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know.

Thank you,

Ronnie

If your computer has an Intel CPU, check out the DSA Service (number 2 in the list on the linked page):

When Windows updates, they sometimes restore a lot of default settings, so the USB suspend and DSA service could come back if they were previously fixed.

"all my colors inside my case all changed back to the default colors"   That sounds like a bunch of default settings could have been restored.

OK, I had tried that last time and I went to check and it looked like it got reset and I turned the USB suspend service back off right before I went to bed and it didn't work.  But, when I got up this morning, it seems be working fine now.  So it might just needed a reboot.

Thanks for your help!
