I'm very keen on getting the FPS controller but I have a few queries mostly about the durability of the joystick. I love my QS but unfortunately I can't play certain games because they're too rough on the spring, I was playing heaps of Rocket League which requires you to almost constantly be pushing the joystick all the way to the edge, often very sharp and suddenly, and I completely snapped my spring in the end. Can anyone tell me how durable the FPS joystick is and maybe what the mechanism is made of?

Also just some general reviews and comments would be cool. How does it feel, how has your aim and skill improved etc.

I had both versions (unfortunately the old one is gone while shipping back for upgrading so I have to order a new one in future) and it's definitely a new feeling. First it seemed to be very sensitive for aiming/steering, but after a few hours and adjustments it's very nice! And I don't have a feeling to get in trouble with wide movements. And it has a more stable centered position. So I prefer the FPS version. ;)

Sorry I did not see this sooner. I have converted one of my QuadSticks to FPS and am very happy I did. I believe the durability is much improved. Most notably for me, I have no more drifting of the cursor when the joystick is resting center. That was a constant problem with both of my original units. Also, I feel as though the movement from the center point outward is more fluid, more consistent feel for my lips. I'll be getting my second original unit upgraded to FPS as soon as I can afford it.

I'm a C-5 quadriplegic with moderate to good upper body strength. Strong neck and I can move my head around easily.
