has anyone come up with a fix for this problem? This happened to my first quadstick and I never found a way to fix it I started to use my new one I had stored away.
Now it's starting to happen to this quadstick. It was working fine all day yesterday, then lastnight I noticed freezes happening again. Plus my old quadstick just keeps turning on and off by itself

If you mean that it "sticks", I reported that problem some time ago. I know with mine, if you push to any direction, sometimes it just stops along the axis, for example you might be able to move it up and down but not left and right for a few moments. The current one that I have, it happens more frequently than the others.
I own a few quadsticks, happens to all of them.

I have never seen this happen inside of a game though, only seems to happen in the Windows environment. I don't have the rebooting problem.

I should also note, I have seen this behavior on three separate computers.

I've seen this happen too. It usually just happens once or twice a day for a split second and clears up right away. I always assumed it was just my pc acting up, I didn't realize it was an issue with the Quadstick itself..

Try removing all the CSV files, except default, prefs and the profile you want to test.

Make sure you are running the most recent firmware.

Let me know if the "freeze" is still apparent, or not.   Also, clearly describe the "freeze"... We may be talking about two different phenomena.   Freezing on ONE axis is a different problem than freezing on both axes.   Duration and frequency of the freeze is also important.

Make sure USB Selective Suspend is disabled.

Check the three things mentioned in the middle of this article:

1) Disable the Selective Suspend feature

do this for every USB root hub device in the hierarchy.

2) Turn off Fast Boot.

3) Disable USB selective suspend feature

its been a couple of days and its working fine so far, when it was freezing it was on both axis and maybe every 5 seconds maybe shorter, thats if im continuously moving the mouse in a circle.

i thought i had already done all of those usb settings, i did them again and there was one that i hadn't changed. hopefully this has fixed it, i might send the other one in that keeps turning on and off

thanks for the replies, just wanted to wait a couple of days to make sure it was going ok before i posted

Windows 10 updates sometimes restore default settings.

Still noticing this, even with the above advice. Do you think it could be the cable?

Have you tried making a configuration that runs in USB mode 6?  It turns off the Flash drive.  I think what is happening is Windows repeatedly scans the flash and that is the source of the pause.

I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one facing this same issue with my Singleton on Windows, which is a little more of an issue for me since my Titan One takes it as a mouse when playing

Didn't fix it. I'm going to try swapping out to my older QS and changing the cables, just to see what happens.

Were you able to fix this problem? I have the same with my new QS. I changed these settings. in a few hours I'll tell you if it fixed the problem.

1) Disable the Selective Suspend feature

do this for every USB root hub device in the hierarchy.

2) Turn off Fast Boot.

3) Disable USB selective suspend feature

Actually, no it did not fix this problem, and I was able to reproduce it on the Nintendo switch. So I don't think it's a Windows issue.

There are too many variables, so I couldn't say for sure what everyone else's problem is. But here's what I observed:

* I was able to reproduce the issue on both Windows 10 and the Nintendo switch
* I switched to a different quadstick. On both models I updated to the latest firmware. The second quadstick does not produce the issue.

At this point, I think there's just something wrong with the joystick on my QS. Fred, unless you can think of something, I'm going to send it back for repairs. I also made a video so you can see the problem.

I have exactly the same problem as you but on the x axis. It is a bit less common for me. on average, once every 2-5 minutes

I shared with "no hand" the video to see if he is having the same problem. He is.

I've posted a firmware update to test a fix for this.  Build 2280.

This problem originally was reported as a mouse problem and I've always looked there for the bug.   Since you said you've seen it on a console, I looked earlier in the code and think I found it.

This problem has been fixed, thanks.
But another problem in my second QS I wrote about a few months ago still occurs. Can this problem also be caused by a code bug?

That looks like a hardware problem.

After installing new software, I often can't load the QS profile

I don't understand what "can't load the QS profile" means.

QMP won't copy a CSV file to the flash drive?
The side tube doesn't start the file-select function?
The file-select functions does not select the correct file?

You can't "load", in either of two meanings above, one file but not another?

It is helpful for problem descriptions to include things you did, and things you saw.
Print out a current list of CSV files with the "Print file list" button to make sure you are selecting the correct file.
