Read the comments for details. The wall jumping solution has been tuned.

I have tested this control sheet through where you get the Phantom cloak. Getting through the game, slowly but surely.

I finished the game yesterday, loved it. I wasn't able 100% (some items are really hard / or i don't konw how). I got 89%.
Here is my profile (on the metroid dread page) this game was with only QS.
Hope someone find it useful.

Congratulations. I'm getting close to the end, I think. I just got space jump, and the shuttle doesn't look too far away.

I finally beat this game. My control sheet is so much crazier. I had to reprogram it a few times just for specific parts of the game, like the end boss. My item percentage was 52%. I found some of the puzzles doable, but I would have to redo the control sheet just for that, and I wasn't feeling like it.

Overall, A+ quality game. Had a lot of fun. This game would have been hard even for my younger self with stronger hands. To be able to do it with the QS, feels like an achievement, and makes me think I could take on some other difficult titles.

Congratulations! Glad you too liked it. I really want to play it again on hard and this time get the 100%.

Hard has to be brutal. The hundred percent is probably just more of an issue in getting the shinespark technique down with the B+Y, and I think there's a way to do it with the slide mixed in. It's not about boss patterns. That's the part I had to mess with the control sheet on because all of these skills need the bumper or the trigger to modify. And if you do puff to toggle, puff to activate, puff to cancel, or some variation thereof… I ended up mixing them all with latches, force off, pulses, and delay_on to get the timing tight enough for the puzzles. And also for the end boss, as I found I was using a different set of tools than I did for the other bosses. Even the Emmi encounters required latching for me. Good for you if you don't need that craziness! Part of the puzzle solving here for me was just getting the control sheet straightened out. This is what I ended up with:

This is a mess. But this is what I finished the game with. I even had to modify it for that little bit after the end boss is defeated. If you stream your games, I would definitely watch to see how you do it without all the latching.

You can name and/or restore different versions of a spreadsheet.  Look under File->Version history.

That sheet looks nuts.   That game looks nuts.

Hi Dan, I do not stream (at least not yet) but if I ever do it. I will tell you. That way I can show how I do it, it may or may not be useful for you but we can always try. I have some ideas on how to polish my profile more but it will have to wait because I lend the game to my brothers.
