Google sheets crashing repeatedly

I am just now messing with a spreadsheet for the quadstick. It seems like if I do virtually anything it causes the webpage to crash and I have to reload.

I am going off of this tutorial.

Currently, it keeps crashing when I'm trying to install the add-on, but it took me about 20 tries to change the filename and a few more tries to add in a keyboard command. What is the deal?

How to request help with a game configuration spreadsheet:

First, search the forum for the game name to see what others have already written about it.

One of the problems in answering questions regarding how to make a custom configuration file is a lack of context with respect to the user's situation and goals.  This is an attempt at a checklist of the information needed in order to help you without a prolonged exchange of questions and answers:

1. The URL of the spreadsheet.  Not the contents of the CSV file.  Make sure to Share the spreadsheet so others can view it ("Download with QMP" will do this automatically)
   
2. The full name of the game.
   
• Call of Duty Ghosts is a different game than Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.  They are published by different companies and have different control layouts.
3. The Platform
   
4. If PC, then the distributor (Steam, Origin, Uplay, etc)
5. If using a CronusMax
• Connection method
• Partial Crossover
• Full Crossover
• PCPROG port
6. Third party equipment or software:
• UltraStik 360
• Tobii EyeGaze
• Mouse, trackball or touchpad.
• Project IRIS
• X-AIM
7. QMP version being used.
• Using voice commands?
  

Common issues:

1. Old spreadsheet scripts.  The new Google add-on for Quadstick is now available and replaces the old "QuadStick" menu commands. 
   
2. Old firmware.  Make sure you are running at least the latest non-test firmware.
3. Old QMP.  Versions earlier than 3.0 will not work anymore.

The spreadsheet is OK.  I made a copy and everything works ok for me on Firefox and Chrome.

What browser are you using?   Have you tried another browser?  Try disabling all add-ons in the browser and if it works, troubleshoot to find which one if the culprit.

What are you doing just prior to seeing the message "Unable to load file".  I have never seen that message.  Searching for it on google shows it is a common problem, but I'm not sure what the solution is:

I think I determined the problem. You were right. It is an extension causing it. Something that I use for knowbrainer, a software that works alongside Dragon. I would have thought I would have tried turning it off, because it seems to cause problems on other web apps including Gmail. I tried turning it off, and it seems to fix the problem. I think I was really tired last night when I was drying that, so maybe I was just not thinking. Thank you

Good.  Once you have the add-on installed, you might try re-enabling the extension and see if the problem returns.  Knowbrainer might be interested in the problem if it is repeatable.  They are the main support for Vocola nowadays.
