As I mentioned in the subject line, I'm brand-new to this world. I bought my quadstick a few months ago and have been waiting for a family member to help me get it set up.

Today was supposed to be that day, but we plugged the quadstick into my PC, and it says that it does not recognize the device. I'm a little bit discouraged because I didn't even accomplish that one. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I've tried watching several videos, but none of them address this very first step of connecting.

Thank you so much for any help you are able to provide!

Sincerely,
John

This email address does not match any order.  What is the order number?

When Windows says it does not recognize a device, nothing will work after that.

This is probably hardware related, somewhere.

Try a different USB port on the computer.
Try a different cable between the computer and the Quadstick.
Make sure the USB cable is fully inserted into the back of the Quadstick.

Try the Quadstick on a different computer.

Whoops – I purchased the Quadstick with my Yahoo account. That email address is jmmra @ yahoo.com

I did try it on a different port. The device is making all of the fun noises when I sip and puff, but it's just not loading into the QMP software. It is being recognized by Windows as a gaming controller or something like that. My goal initially is to use it as a mouse and then transition into gaming.

Thank you so much for your support!

If I found the right order, this quadstick was order configured for the Nintendo Switch:

At power up the default configuration will be for a Nintendo Switch console, not a PC.

Look in the box for a copy of the list of configuration files that were loaded into it.  You will find this list:

You will need to select the #5 configuration file to gain access to the flash drive for QMP to be able to make changes.

Once it is running the Mouse2 configuration, you will be to use QMP with it.
