on the Cronus forums. Seems players are using the beloader to make their Cronus compatible with newer ps5 games. Atm newer ps5 games don’t recognize the Cronus (and subsequently the quad stick) so we have to play the ps4 version of those games (if there’s a ps4 version). I'm hoping the beloader can help quad stick users as well.

Looking through some of their information, it looks like they are getting in through the "remote play" connection, not USB. Once the device is set up, it does not need to be connected to the PS5. It connects over the local wifi network.
Has anyone tried the PS5 over the remote play using X360CE and ViGEm?

A new update for the Cronus Zen makes it easier to work with the PS5 using remote play. I have been using it for three days now, and it works great. Below are two YouTube links, one on how to update the Cronus Zen, you would need to download a beta version of Zen studios, and the second link is how to set up your PS5 with remote play and enable the remote play features on the Zen studio. I hope this helps.

You can go to settings in your PS5 and enable it to be turned on from remote play. In addition, you do not need to use a DS4 or PS5 dongle for this to work; you need to update the Cronus Zen to the beta firmware and enable the remote play feature in Zen studio. In one of my previous posts, I shared two links from youtube that will help you update the Cronus Zen.

You can use any profile, but if you want to use the touchpad you need to use a PlayStation output profile, Which is what I use when I am playing PS5 games.

It doesn't work for me.
I have the Beta on zen and correctly configure remote play
The qs is connected to port 1 of the zen and the rear port to the pc.
The qs is on but it does not control

Did you unplug and plug the Cronus Zen after updating and enabling the remote play feature? The Cronus Zen has to reboot for this to work. Also, are you using a controller profile?, mouse and keyboard will not work.

This thread prompted me to experiment with a way to play PS5 games using PS Remote Play without any devices like beloader, CMZen or T2. There are a couple of programs called ViGEm and VDX that will allow an XBox 360 controller to operate PS Remote Play. They will work with X360CE.

No, why would it?
It might be annoying with the lights, but you can load a config that sets them to be very dim
