quadstick ps4 issues

Can anyone help me out please lol, my uncle is paralyzed from the neck down so we got him the quad stick so he could play his games again but whenever we try to do it, he never can get it to work on his ps4, we aren't sure what the issue is. The quadstick is new basically out of the box. Do i have to update the quad stick? Do i need a cronus max? Any help would be greatly appreciated as i wanna help him do what he enjoys asap.

2:39 PM (less than a minute ago) cheaper without a cronusmax if you plan on just using QS alone. 1st. check if QS is up to date using QMP for windows (http://www.quadstick.com/downloads [just qmp/left box])

           99%sure it is,  but just incase it should be firmware 1967 or higher [check on QMP (Quadstick Manager Program)

2nd: make sure ps4 boot is enabled (misc tab of QMP). save prefrences...qs will reboot and you are half way their.

(you could adjust more settings if needed &hopefully make custom profiles(button mapping) once your uncle physically understands the QS

3rd make sure the PS4 is also prepared ... follow these steps

recommend getting a DS4 wired controller solely dedicated for the QS just to keep from restarting every 7 minutes as stated here

Can you identify the order?  Nothing shows up when searching for this email address.

When it was ordered, did you specify the PS4 console?  If not, the "Enable boot in PS4 USB mode" will probably need to be turned on.    What shows up in the upper left hand corner of the screen when the quadstick is plugged in?

Instructions can be found in the user manual.

Spending a couple of hours reviewing the user manual will save a lot of time in the long run.
