hello guys

so bf6 open beta starts soon i wanted to try it but bf6 requires secure boot i guess it's related to anticheat, and when I turned secure boot on qs immediately stopped working properly basically a couldn't select any profile just like  qmp was empty so i guess secure boot  cut qmp in some way

have you ever had this kind problem? Fred  do you maybe know the fixable?

thanks for amy advices

I am also going to play the BF6 beta. I have been avoiding touching the secure boot, because I didn't know what would be affected. I'm still on windows 10, but I will have to switch to windows 11 in october. Any ideas anyone?

Half of people using the Quadstick today are on Windows 11 with secure boot and TPM 2.0.  I don't think whatever is affecting your system is due to secure boot.

I use a combination of Windows 10 and 11 here and every quadstick has been connected to a Window 11 machine that loads the initial firmware into it, then copies two test configuration CSV files into it.

Nothing in the BIOS would prevent a quadstick from responding to the side tube to select different modes or configuration files.

There is something else going on, like unusual USB settings.

The laptop used to initially load all new quadsticks with their firmware is Windows 11 pro, UEFI BIOS mode and Secure boot is on.

Send in a debugging report with QMP:
  1. Plug the Quadstick into the PC
  2. Start QMP
  3. Wait 20 seconds
  4. Click in the Transcript pane at the bottom of the window.
  5. Press F1 key
  6. Answer prompt to send in the debugging report
  7. EXIT QMP.  Ignore any error message.
  8. Send me an email so I know to go look for the report.
