New PS5 Adapter from Brook

Looks like Brook is releasing a new PS5 adapter: https://www.brookaccessory.com/products/wingmanp5/index.html

This one is compatible with both the PS4 and PS5. Will also pair with wireless controllers and allow for motion controls. Otherwise seems fairly similar to the FGC2 model. Since the Quadstick is wired, this new one or FGC 2 should be pretty comparable other than the added PS4 compatibility.

I'm having trouble getting this to work. I have boot in PS4 mode and the option underneath checked in the quadstick manager. Also did the firmware update for the adapter. It works to start the PS5 but when I switch to my configuration which has worked the whole time it does not. Any suggestions?
