Hello everyone!

I'm new owner of Quadstick since roughly a week and I'm a little bit confused about sip and puff sensibility. he mouthpiece centre tube stuck0 after a puff or sip until I deactivate it with the opposite (if it stucks after a sip, I make a puff to this activated vice versa). I I don't understand this problem and it bother me while playing. I play rocket league on PS4 and because of this problem, my boost (MP_centre_puff) always activating when I'm not puffing the tube because the LED was still on after using it. The other consequence is I cannot use the mouthpiece triple puff (double vault) because I think the centre puff is more sensible than the both side mouthpiece puff so I barely ever can do mouthpiece triple puff, it come off just mouthpiece centre puff (boost). I don't understand and it's very frustrating. I make clear the function for mouthpiece centre puff is not a toggle but a normal. I hope somebody can help me to understand.
Thank you in advance!

Jerome

It is very important to NOT TOUCH the Quadstick while it is powering up.  Wait until all the lights stop flashing before touching the mouthpiece.   It is during this time that the pressure sensors and joystick neutral values are read.

Try changing out your mouthpiece if the old one is clogged.

Hello,

I tried changing the mouthpiece but it worked better only one hour. After that, the same problem occured It seems to me the problem come from the Quadstick itself. It always actives the mouthpiece centre sip or the mouthpiece centre sip soft whatever I do it or not. The sip stucks until I do mouthpiece centre puff and occur again and again sometimes every seconds sometimes 5 seconds and otherwise 9 seconds. When I puff it for a long time (about 5 minutes) that seems to decrease the prevalence of automatic sip but it still happening. Moreover, each time I sip in the centre of mouthpiece, the prevalence of this problem increase! I don't understand what happening. I tried to pull out the mouthpiece to blow into it but nothing worked. Do you know what is the problem?

I want to be very clear about this:  DO NOT TOUCH THE QUADSTICK WHILE IT IS POWERING UP.

If your lips were touching the mouthpiece AT ALL, the pressure sensor will be miscalibrated.   Do not even exhale into the mouthpiece during power up.

Your answer did not explicitly indicate you understood this from my last message.

One way to test this is to power up the quadstick while no one is near it and let it sit there.   If it activates on its own, there is a hardware problem and it will need to be repaired.

Hello!

Thank you! I probably inhaled in the Quadstick centre tube a bit without my realising it. I tried to start the Quadstick without instilling it front of my mouth. Now, the Quadstick is working without any problem.

Best wishes,

Great!  Thanks for letting us know.

Those pressure sensors can be really sensitive.  They can actually detect someone exhaling at the mouthpiece.

Yeah I can breath through my nose with my mouth on the quadstick and it activates sip.
