I'm currently trying to test out how viable a full switch to Linux (CachyOS) actually is right now. The first major hurdle was finding a good on-screen keyboard, and I'm still not quite done with that since I haven't found a perfect solution yet. (using a mix of plasma and vboard at the moment)
However, the second—and frankly much bigger—issue is how QS displays or emulates the controller... I know that in a pinch I can just switch to the "enable_DS3_emulation=3" mode, but having the ability to use the mouse at any given time is definitely worth a lot. Steam offers the option to remap the controller so buttons, joysticks, etc. function according to the configured profile. But that doesn't work very well—for instance, the qs triggers are recognized as x360 bumpers, turning them into digital inputs instead of giving you the full analog range... Is there any way to tweak or fix this? And how does that work with qmp4? What kind of mapping does it do?
Greetings
