This just popped up when bringing up the QMP manager.

Try restarting the computer and the quadstick. 

The weird part is that exception is handled.  It is after it has found the quadstick's flash drive, so we know there is a quadstick present just a few microseconds ago, and when it is reading the firmware version that is reported as a drive serial number.  Even if something goes wrong there, it should just say None for the build number and continue.

Anything unusual about the computer or Windows it is running on?  Running in a VM or something other than regular Windows 10 or 11?

I'm just running Windows 11. I just thought it was weird because I've never seen it pop up like that before.

Is it still doing that, or where you able to get it started?

One way to avoid that code path would be to start QMP with the quadstick disconnected or in a game controller only USB mode, then connect it normally.
