lip button not working

hey so my lip button is not working. I sent a pic of the controller showing i'm in second mode in my profile. when i push the lip button the botton green light disappears. i have tried other profiles but its not working at all

Verify that the Lip button is plugged into the correct hole.

It must be plugged in PRIOR to powering up the Quadstick. It will not work it is plugged in after power is applied.
