Question regarding inputs

When I display unused inputs I always see 

mp_left_right_sip  and the equivalent puff  and soft versions.

Is there a different mouth piece required to use those inputs?  It's like physically impossible to do.

Also unsure how to use the mp_right_mode inputs

I have a narrow mouthpiece (26mm).

It is possible to use  mp_left_right_sip by positioning your tongue over the center hole. But far from optimal.

The mp_right_mode inputs are best used with a four hole mouthpiece.
