Hi guys,

I’m having a strange issue that’s only occurring with 2 particular games when using my FPS QS on Xbox series X, which are Elden Ring and Cyberpunk.

I’m using a Brook Wingman XB Converter Adapter to plug the qs into. I also put the Xbox in copilot mode so that I can use the left joystick of a standard Xbox controller with the back of my hand to walk around with and everything else I do with the qs. This works perfectly with every game I’ve played, from Dark Souls to CoD.

With Elden Ring and Cyberpunk, they work fine if I’m just using either the qs or a Xbox controller. But the moment I switch on copilot to use them together, there’s some serious lag on my input, to the point that it’s simply unplayable.

I’ve tried playing around with some settings, such as switching off ray tracing in cyberpunk, but haven’t had any luck figuring it out. Any ideas are more than welcome as I’m dying to get into Elden Ring!

Thanks,
John

I did some searching on the web and you are not only one to experience lag while in copilot.   Some people had managed to fix it, but mostly their solutions didn't apply.  None of them were using an XAC or Brook converter, as far as I could tell.

There are alternative ways to use the XAC with the Quadstick together:

The newest Quadstick firmware, 2357, will recognize a Brook Wingman XE PS4 converter in the USB-A port.  This was originally done to provide an easier way to deal with the PS4 authentication headache, but a side effect was any controller that the XE recognizes can be used like it was a Dual Shock 4, including the XAC.  Now all the XAC controls become available inside the Quadstick configuration.

The other way would be a Console Tuner Titan 2. It will combine the outputs from multiple controllers, and it works with the XAC as the authentication controller for XBox.

I believe both the XE and the T2 (with their expansion bluetooth module) will work with the XAC wirelessly.  I haven't tried that.

Thanks for your reply Fred.

Actually, I originally was set up with a Titan 2 which was fantastic. Unfortunately, the USB port got damaged and I have been trying for over a year to replace it but cannot find one to buy. Do you know of any suppliers that currently have stock by any chance? I’m in Australia but don’t mind paying for shipping as I really want to play this game ;p

I've got some.  New in box.  I can send it to Australia for $100 + $50 USPS shipping.

I don't put them on the website because they would all go to non-quadstick users.
