GTA V D-Pad function?

Fred,

Using PS5, during the game it says press the d-pad

for a particular function. It doesn't say any directions, just press d-pad. How can I achieve this on my profile spreadsheet

The four main D-pad outputs are named dpad_N, dpad_E, dpad_S, dpad_W.   Try one of those.

From the Default Configuration, they look like this:

dpad_N	normal	N
dpad_NE	normal	NE
dpad_E	normal	E
dpad_SE	normal	SE
dpad_S	normal	S
dpad_SW	normal	SW
dpad_W	normal	W
dpad_NW	normal	NW

I see the configuration but not understandIng how to press it. No sip or puff

Move the joystick.  The D-pad is like a primitive joystick.

The input named N is up.  S is down, etc.

Great I understand now. Is there a section in the documentation that explains the function like delay latch, tap, toggle, .etc and how to use them
