Hello Quadstick's community,

I'm reaching out to the community because I'm having a problem with my Quadstick (old FPS model).

When the Quadstick starts up, it initializes and then freezes with :
1. The top rightmost LED turns red, and on the side, the second LED from the top turns green.
2. Then, the top rightmost red LED turns off, and the top leftmost LED turns purple, while the second LED from the top on the side remains green.

Sipping or puffing into the pipes, the LEDs do change color (red and blue) but nothing happens in the game.

My PC can no longer detect the Quadstick as a USB drive.

This happened after I deleted some files on the Quadstick. I only left the prefs.csv file and one other file (I don't remember if it's called default) on the quadstick before it happens.

Is it still possible to reset the configuration files manually to get back the access to the Quadstick from a PC?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Chris.

My guess would be that it is running in a game controller emulation mode that does not have flash drive access.

If there are no other configuration files that you can select using the side tube that have flash drive access, you will need to clear the flash drive to allow the quadstick to fall back to its built in configuration, which is similar to the Default Configuration, with a PS3 controller in the first four modes and a mouse mode in mode 5.

First try selecting a different configuration file to see if you can regain access, then as a last resort, force the quadstick to clear the flash drive:  https://quadstick.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/user_manual/um/erasing_the_quadstick_configuration_flash.htm

I don't know what configuration files were originally in your Quadstick so I have attached two ZIP files with the FPS and Original model configuration files for a PC mouse.  Download the appropriate one and open it and copy the internal CSV files to the Quadstick's flash drive.  The most important ones are the prefs.csv and the default.csv.
