After purchasing the product, I tested it, but it does not work. The message "QuadStick flash drive not found." appears. Additionally, when I try to download a profile, I encounter the following error message: "Error in csv_files_dropped: AttributeError('NoneType' object has no attribute 'write_qs_file')."
Since English is not my native language, I find it difficult to fully understand manuals or forum posts. However, I have tried all the steps I could think of. I attempted to switch the USB port on my computer to a different one.  the "in QuadStick" section on the left of the QuadStick Manager program remains empty. and the firmware update button is disabled.

I believe the key issue lies in the flash drive not being recognized. I attempted to initialize the flash drive, but I am not sure if my method is correct.

Here is what I tried:

1.Connect the power.
2.Immediately during the timing when 5 pink lights are blinking,
3.Press the lip button while simultaneously sucking in the middle hole.
My question is about the time required to suck in the middle hole. I understand that the lip button should be pressed for 15 seconds, but should the suction last around 2-3 seconds, or should I suck as strongly and for as long as possible?

Additionally, I am curious about the statement that changing the emulate setting to 0, 2, or 4 makes the flash drive visible. Does this apply only when the QuadStick is connected via its USB A port? I do not fully understand how emulation works and would appreciate further explanation.

Open this page in a browser:  http://test.quadstick.com

Wiggle the joystick.  Does the window display something like:

Quad Stick PS4 mode (Vendor: 16d0 Product: 092e)

What is displayed for the Vendor and Product numbers?

Did you make *any* changes to the configuration files before this problem was noticed?

These messages in the transcript:

Could be caused by the Quadstick emulation mode being set to 6 (no flash).

It could also be caused by some 3rd party program on your computer that blocks access to USB flash drives.

It could also be caused by running the Quadstick Manager Program in a Virtual Machine that is not set up properly.

To force the flash drive to be erased and reformatted, the sip on the center hole and the push on the lip button must be held for a very long time.   Approximately 20 seconds.  If either the sip or lip button is released before the quadstick restarts, the drive will not be reformatted.

There are about twenty Korean Quadstick users.  I can try to put you in contact with someone in Korea.

Do you have HID Hide installed?  Uninstall it and reboot the computer.

 1. What is displayed for the Vendor and Product numbers?
Wired Controller (Vendor: 16d0 Product: 092d)

2. Did you make *any* changes to the configuration files before this problem was noticed?
I didn't touch anything.

3.How do I change Quadstick emulation mode?

4. Do you have HID Hide installed?
I also suspected that part and have already deleted it.

5.It could also be caused by some 3rd party program on your computer that blocks access to USB flash drives.
Are REwasd or Flex Controller programs feared to crash?

6.Are you telling me to suck it up for 20 seconds? Wouldn't it pass my breath and pass out to suck it up for 20 seconds.
Or did I get it wrong?

reWASD can cause problems with the Quadstick.

This exact thing, the controller was visible but the flash drive was hidden, came up before and reWASD was the culprit.

I think they have a feature like HID Hide that also blocks the flash drive, not just the controllers.

The solution the last time was to uninstall reWASD.   Before doing that, look around in the settings for reWASD and see if they have a way to control how it works with the Quadstick, with respect to its flash drive.   I know some people have successfully used reWASD with the Quadstick in the past.

The Nintendo Flex Controller is one of the devices that can be plugged into the back of the Quadstick and we can make use of its controls within the Quadstick configuration.  If you are using it with reWASD, it might be possible to get the same result with using it through the Quadstick.
