I can use every profile 2 - 7 just not default. and I'm looking for eighth game to add. I thought it was only for profile 1, 3, and 7? Should I have revealed this secret?

You may be conflating USB emulation "modes" (1,3,7) with file numbers or configuration profile mode sheets.

The word "mode" is used for different kinds of things.

The flash memory of the quadstick can hold up to 31 configuration files.  A configuration file can have up to sixteen mode sheets.

I use the beloader-basic.csv and copy & paste another profile into it (ex. a friends GtaV.csv) then add it to QMP but it was confusing at first. I thought you had to have it on the 1, 3, and 7 spot in my list of configuration files in the Quadstick to play. Did testing and found out you can have multiple beloader profiles and they work. but you're saying that's normal? I have so much to learn.

The word "mode" is used for two completely different and unrelated things.

USB emulation mode is the method of communicating at a technical level between two devices.

Profile mode is a collection of connections between sip/puff/joystick/switch inputs and the conventional game controller buttons, triggers, etc that the quadstick is controlling at the moment.
