Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with my QuadStick when using it with the Nintendo Switch.
Whenever the Nintendo Switch goes into sleep mode (or turns off the screen while connected via USB), my QuadStick starts entering an infinite reboot loop. It keeps disconnecting and reconnecting continuously until I physically unplug the USB cable or wake up the console.
Has anyone else encountered this issue, or is there a known fix, firmware setting, or workaround to prevent the QuadStick from rebooting when the Switch enters sleep mode?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A couple of things to try:
  • Set the Switch to not go into sleep mode.   It can still dim the display after a timeout period, just not go to sleep.
  • Try interposing a powered USB hub between the Switch and the Quadstick so the power is not interrupted to the Quadstick.
You can create a config file to dim the LEDs on the Quadstick so it is not lighting up the room by setting the "brightness" preference setting to 0.
