Hello,  Fred!  How's it going?

I tried the method where you sip on the center hole and press the lip button in.  I am sipping really hard and I am pressing the lip button really hard, so hard I'm scared I'm going to break it.  Is there some sort of extra click I'm going to hear or a little bump I need to get it passed?  Because I'm pressing really hard with my chin and it won't go any further.

After about 20 seconds or so, my quadstick did start blinking all the lights pink, does that mean I did it right? It still says that the firmware is none.

Let me know if I'm doing some wrong or need to try something different.

Thanks and have a good one!

" my quadstick did start blinking all the lights pink"

That tells you it did the reformat and reset, so it worked.  The configuration files will be completely erased.

It will be running a basic PS3 controller configuration with the first four modes being a game controller and mode 5 being a PC mouse.

Go to:  https://test.quadstick.com  and wiggle the joystick.  Values circled in red on the screen should change.

Hey, Fred!  Thank you very much.  Everything worked out  and I can see the quadstick in the list of drives in Explorer.

Work like a charm!

Thank you very much for your help!!  Have a good one!

The attached ZIP file contains the original set of CSV files that are installed in new Quadsticks that are intended for the PC.

If you open that ZIP and then copy the CSV files into the Quadstick, it will restore the original setup.   The two most important files would be prefs.csv and default.csv.

Once those are loaded, the quadstick will operate as a mouse.
