2015 Tour of Kansas City this weekend - Volunteers needed!

The 52nd annual Tour of Kansas City is coming up this weekend, May 29-31.

With just a day until the races start, we desperately need a few more volunteers.  If you can volunteer--or know anyone who can--we would really appreciate it!

The volunteer positions we still need to fill are easy, fun, and put you right in the middle of the action of the TKC races:

 - Registration helpers (Fri evening, Sat, Sun):
Assisting with race sign-ups, hand out awards

 - Course marshals (Sat, Sun): 3 hour shift watching races while you 'guard' a corner, side-road, or driveway

If you can help for 2-3 hours one day, a few hours 2-3 days, or all weekend--any way, we can really use your help. Sign up to volunteer online:

Now in its 52nd year, the Tour of Kansas City is a week-long celebration of cycling in Kansas City.  Come on out and join us!

 - Microbrew & BBQ Fest Saturday @ Cliff Drive

 - Three days of the fastest, most exciting bike racing in the region at Cliff Drive Friday & Saturday and at the Truman Sports Complex Sunday.

 - Over $25,000 in prizes & payouts.

 - Races are part of the Midwest Flyer Omnium Race Series, MOBRA's MOBAR race series, KCA's KBAR/KBAT series, 2- or 3-day Omnium competition, USAC National Junior Road Race Series

 - Women's payout for 2015 more than doubled vs last year, and is the first U.S. bicycle racing event (that we know of!) to offer a larger women's
