Hmm, it's supposed to work the same? I supposed you saved the file
aside, right? Play a bit with 1.2.0 and let yourself die, just so that
it creates a record file, then you can replace the top one with your
file, that should work?

Ugh, that's on Windows, right? I think it's moved to whatever is the
"appropriate place" on a modern Windows (which is NOT the application
folder! think of systems where the user is not administrator, you
don't want peons writing to application folders now, don't you?)...
Document And Settings? On Mac OS X, I'd say "~/Library/Application
Support", on Linux, somewhere matching "~/.quadra*"...
Indeed. See \Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Roaming\Quadra\
on XP, or \Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Quadra on Vista.
Did you notice that newer versions use the ".qrec" extension?
