Hi again,

Finally I've compiled and installed quadra 1.2.0rc5 . It works fine
but I have some problems with sound. The sound is disturbed with a
very troublesome effect. I would like to point out the the audio works
fine with other applications. Here are the output messages of quadra
in debug mode. Could you help me in solving this problem?

I would like to add that a friend of mine has installed the same
version and he is experimenting the same problems with audio.

This would be best dealt with by filing an issue here (so that it
doesn't get overlooked when preparing the next release):
http://code.google.com/p/quadra/issues/entry

What is your platform exactly (the output of "uname -a" would be
helpful)? Could you copy/paste the output of "cat /dev/sndstat"? Are
you using a desktop environment (like GNOME or KDE), and if so, which
version? Is there software like esd, ArtsD, or Pulseaudio running?

Sound distorsion problems are really difficult to pinpoint... I know
that I did fix a problem in quadra-sdl on PowerPC hardware, where the
CPU is big-endian and the sound card was little-endian, so the sound
was garbled, I'm not sure I backported that to the trunk...

Thanks!
