Hi Hannah, I just joined and am very excited to be part of this group. I've just finished A Critical Introduction to Queer Theory and came across this group in my hungry search for more information. Would you recommend Annamarie Jagose's Queer Theory? Also, is the reading group meetup still happening? I'd love to go along. Could you post/PM the details? Thanks!

Hi Vu!

I haven't actually read Jagose's Queer Theory (though I have read some of her other stuff relating to orgasmology, which was good). The Ashgate research companion to queer theory has some introductory stuff in it too. I'll have a look back over articles in my course reader from when I studied queer theory and body modification at uni and get back to you.

Our next reading group is scheduled for Sunday 13 January 2013, 1-3.30pm in Chippendale. I'll be sending out an email with details and readings in the next day or so (I've added your email to the mailing list). The topic is 'crip theory'.

Cheers :)

Hi Hannah, I'm a beginner and need a copy of the chapters of 'A Critical Introduction to Queer Theory'...
Cheers, JOE
