Sorry to bother you again, but I am trying to run a docking job on the HPC, but I cannot get it to run. If I try to run the docking job it immediately fails with an error message about not being able to check out a license.

When I try to open Maestro from samba on the HPC, I get the following error message:

FATAL got_license: could not check out a license for mmlibs version 1.9
FATAL mmerr initialize: got_license() failed
FATAL -10: Unable to obtain valid Maestro license key. MAESTRO_MAIN or MAESTRO_ELEMENTS

Oddly, I have no problem opening Maestro on my own linux machine, the problem appears localized to the HPC for this problem. I can even use Glide to dock compounds on my local computer, just not on the HPC.

Suggestions?

Sorry, I didn't realize that we had the 2011 installation of Schrodinger on the HPC. Once I switched to this I no longer had a problem.

Thanks Dhruv!

Hi Billy,

Are you using the 2011 installation on the hpc?  I did not have any problems with it yesterday. I do not think that the 2010 version has the correct license in it.

Dhruv
