I have windows 7, 32bit, IE9 installed on my computer. I have download
Crack File, but i am unable to run. Every time i double click on it ,
it open in notepad++.
Please suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Below is the steps followed up to step9

I am using Windows 7 and I installed QTP10.0.
If you are using Windows 7 check for 2 program Files in your C drive
and I followed these steps.
How do I obtain Seat License?
1. Uninstall/Disable your Anti-Virus Software
2.Create the folder as per tree (for Windows 7.0), C:\Program Files
(x86)\Common Files\Mercury Interactive\License Manager
3.Goto http://rapidshare.com/files/84536903/_uploaded_by_benoy_crack_qtp.rar
4.Click on Free User or Premium User
5.Download the file by clicking the “Download” Icon
6.Click on Save
7.Save at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Mercury Interactive
\License Manager
8.Copy the downloaded file and paste it at C:\Program Files (x86)\HP
\QuickTest Professional\bin
9.Double click on the “_uploaded_by_benoy_crack_qtp” RAR file
10.Double click on the “[uploaded_by_benoy]crack_qtp” folder
11.Double click on the “l-mqt82.exe” file
12.You will see the following information
a.Getting Machine ID…
b.Machine ID: XXXXX
c.Generating License…
d.License Generated Successfully
e.License Saved at C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Mercury
Interactive\License Manager\iservrc
13Double click on “iservrc” file
14Open with “Note Pad” option
15.Copy all the text in the file (Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C)
16.Click on QTP Icon on your desktop (or Start  All Programs  Quick
Test Professional)
17.Install the license as Seat License
18.Enter the data copied from “Note Pad” (Ctrl+V)
19.Click on next to finish
20.Restart your computer

Hi All,

I just tried installing QTP 11 on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit OS successfully.

Install QTP 11 as usual and complete installations.  At the end it will ask for the license, you can ignore that and complete installations.  You will see QTP (HP QuickTest Professional) and double click on that and select seat license.

Once it ask you to paste the license key, just wait and make sure you have created the
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Mercury Interactive\License Manager" folder  (quotes are not required, just giving an example).  then copy the l-mqt82.exe from the below .rar download... do not download everything into this License Manager folder... you can try disabling antivirus and firewalls by right clicking the antivirus softwares from the status bar... without that also it should work if you accept the above i-mqt82.exe file.  Once you double click on i-mqt82.exe you will see lservrc file in your License Manager folder.  Open this lservrc file in Notepad and copy only the first part of the key before # sign and paste in QTP license...   Main thing is to create lservrc file only... if this is not working, you need to do same steps in windows xp machine with same user id (computer name and user id should be same) and you can copy that lservrc file into windows 7 environment... many other options are there... but above option will work.

regards,
Srikanth

Hi

I tried installing QTP 11 on windows XP 32-bit and it went smooth till it asks for license.

For license, I used the crack and followed the same steps as mentioned below. And it also went smoothly - the lservrc file generated in license folder and 'License installed successfully' message on QTP license key prompt.

Now my problem is that the qtp is not running and gives invalid License error.

This was my 2nd installation, however I started this installation on freshly formated system.

Please help. I am facing the same problem on windows 7 64 bit system.

Cheers,
Meenakshi

I had the problem and asked for help and our group tried to help me
out but didn't work well for me.
this is short cut to get new license.

little bit longer but Right way to do this is just backup your data
and re install window and install new qtp it will take about 3 to 4
hours and you are good to go.
