Please help with QTP 10.0 on Windows 7 64bit machine

Hi,
I've been struggling trying to get QTP 10.0 to work on Windows 7
64bit.
What I've tried so far below is before installation.
User Account Control Settings = Never notify
C:\ = Full Control is allowed
I checked Local Security Policy window but it doesn't look like
anything here would change how QTP is responding to my machine.
I have been told that I need to make some security setting changes on
my machine. Can someone please advise where the security changes need
to be made? Has anyone here had success with running setup and then
following the ReadMe steps and being able to actual use QTP 10.0 from
a Windows 7 64bit machine that's not in God mode.

1) Running this file generates an error pop up on my machine.
WlscGen.exe = Error (VLS0040): Unknown exception (1968056497) in
accession SentinelILM license meter(s).
2) License is Generated.

I go to open QTP 10.0
click on help
Click on about QuickTest Professional 10.00
Click on License..
Click on
I put in the license number from lservrc this file when I viewed it
with notepad.
The wlscgen.exe did not work for me and threw and error
message.WlscGen = Error (VLS0040): Unknown exception (1968056497) in
accession SentinelILM license meter(s).

Here are my steps below and outlines what happens when I try to
install and run QTP 10.0
The program is forced close with this message from microsoft. I tried
installing this on my Windows 7 64bit machine and here was my results
so far.
My Steps:
1) Install QTP 10.0, you can set up .NET; Java Add-in (the other
plugins are not cracked yet)
at the end of setup REMOVE "Run License Installation Wizard" flag
I did step 1 except I did not install Java, .NET, and WPF.
2) I installed LicenseServer
3) Ran QTP 10.0
4) Created the folder license manager
5) Copy files from crack folder to license manager
6) run qtp_def.exe
7) I could not run wlscgen.exe I get an error message "Error
(VLS0040): Unknown exception (1968056497) in accession SentinelILM
license meter(s)."
8) I switch back to QTP and just inserted the number I found inside
the Iservrc file.""QuickTestPro" version "6.0", no expiration date,
exclusive" This seemed to work fine and showed a successful message.
9) I closed QTP
10) Restarted QTP seems fine.
11) I open new test.
12) I get a QTP pop up window stating QTP has stopped working. I
checked the Resource Monitor and CPU usage is now at 25 and status is
'Not Responding'.

I've also tried tricking QTP into perhaps bypassing the feature that
is causing it to close by setting up an vbscript to just launch qtp
but this did not work.

Yes! Now I can say this is working fine after running this PATCH I
just found online. Please let this information be passed down to other
