Floating to fullscreen and back

1. Start with a floating window, in my case a video
2. Use lazy.window.toggle_fullscreen() to fullscreen the video
3. Use lazy.window.toggle_fullscreen() again
4. The window is now tiled.

Is this expected behavior? How do I prevent it from being tiled?

5. I use lazy.window.toggle_floating() to float the window.

Now it's placed in a completely different location on the screen from where I began in step 1. How do I ensure that the placement of floating windows is persistent (as long as I don't manually move it)?
