Prepping for 1.6.1?

Hey all,

I'm thinking we want to start getting ready to cut version 1.6.1, and I want to ping everyone to see if there are objections. There are a few bugs that I need to track down, and some more tests I want to add, but that said, I expect the trunk should be 1.6.1-worthy sometime next week. (Part of this is to assist in supporting the next release of Chapel.) Thoughts?

There's a valid argument it should be called 1.7 instead. I'm leaning toward 1.6.1, but I can be convinced otherwise.
