Anyone else seeing disconnects from APRS-IS.

Here is my log:

14:29:13.129 INFO APRSISConnection.socket():103 - Connected to 82.79.90.46:14580
14:29:13.306 DEBUG APRSISConnection.sendLogin():179 - Sending login to rotate.aprs2.net:14580: user NOCALL pass -1 vers QTH 0.01-alpha filter a/27.902829/-82.946716/27.702829/-82.625764
14:29:13.469 DEBUG APRSISConnection.handleServerMessage():197 - Server: # Login by user not allowed
14:29:32.480 DEBUG APRSISConnection.handleServerMessage():197 - Server: # aprsc 2.1.8-gf8824e8 15 Feb 2021 19:29:32 GMT T2ROMANIA 192.168.15.15:14580
14:29:39.216 DEBUG APRSISConnection.sendFilter():186 - Sending filter to rotate.aprs2.net:14580: filter a/28.853034/-83.052975/26.832033/-79.808444
14:29:42.358 ERROR TcpSocketConnection.socketDidDisconnect():100 - Socket disconnected Error Domain=GCDAsyncSocketErrorDomain Code=7 "Socket closed by remote peer" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Socket closed by remote peer}
14:29:42.361 DEBUG Connection.status():86 - status changed from started to error

I can do a tcpdump on port 14580 if that would help.

It stays connected for a 30 seconds or so.

I have Reconnect upon Network failure but this must not be considered a failure to keep it from ping-ponging.

It appears to work now so that could be an issue with a specific server returned by rotate.aprs2.net

PS I am still not sure why it did not try to reconnect.

Seems the optimal thing would be to let the user specify their own call and SSID, but the pass is -1 until validated.

Servers will automatically disconnect a user if another connection is established from the same user.  Since the non-verified client is using NOCALL for everyone, if two non-verified clients happen to connect to the same server, they will ping-pong each other off the server.

For everything, there is a reason.

For most APRS Internet servers you must have a callsign and validation code, I think that is the problem.
