Bigger fonts for left panel?

My request is for consideration of bigger fonts on the left panel.

For example,  the last heard is very valuable when using APRS to support an event.  We use it all the time when tracking 40 amateur radio vehicles on a 206 mile bike race and ride across mountain terrain.  

It appears there might be some screen real estate available for bigger font.

I am using a Mac Book Pro 15 inch.  If not bigger perhaps a font with thicker lines to make it easier to read.

Often APRS settings are outdoors with bright sun/glare etc. 

Just a thought.
