In order to answer your questions i need some information:
1. which version of FreeTrack are you using?
2. how did you calibrated the map? By hand? Using a MAP file?
It might be a few things, one of them is having an older FreeTrack
version (1.2.1 or < 1.3.19).
Let me know!

FreeTrack: http://code.google.com/p/qtfreetrack
like the wiki
(http://code.google.com/p/qtfreetrack/wiki/MapCalibration) says in the
example...
i believe that is the problem!
where are you from? Is that latitude NORTH and longitude EAST?

Can you send me both the map and the cal files? (send to my private
address wi...@gardiol.org)
tomorrow i will do some more testing.
By the way, this weekend we will be not far from you, in the
Shwarzwald... :)

1- a bug in version 1.3.19 which prevents CAL loading under specific
circumstances
2- your three points are on the same line
(1) Has been fixed in 1.3.20. You can either try to reinstall from OVI
(where release 1.3.23 should be published any time now) or remove the
OVI version and grab the 1.3.22 from here: code.google.com/p/qtfreetrack
Dont be fooled by the release numbers, 1.3.22 and 1.3.23 are the same
release (i use +1 for OVI releases)
(2) I am working on a fix in the calibration code, meanwhile you should
change one of the three points and make sure they are NOT on a line!
because this will cause some troubles inside the QTransform, probably
bound to Symbian floating point rounding issues.
Anyway, upgrade your version and move one of the three points (i will
try to send you an already fixed CAL file to your personal email
shortly) and please come back telling us if it is working!
ciao
