Hi CdQ

I have tried marina exe and work fine also if 270 Mb seem very big
Can you share your compilation script?
in 32 bit machine is possible have 64 bit library?
Can you add hbide to binary
IMO same marina_ide feature can be added to hbide
for having one complete workinkg hbide
and hbide's intellisense

If you are intrested also to qt5 Here i have recompiled qt5 rc2 for mingw 4.7.2 sjl
https://drive.google.com/a/deltain.net/#folders/0B8GgbIH3gP2WV3VGa2w0QXE2RjQ
see how i do in qtvars.cmd and compila.bat

do you think that upcomimg validator.prg will be used also from Marina gui?

Hi, I have installed and test, but if the sample works correctly, I handles some problem with my qt4 installed version.
You compil and use 4.7.3, and the version I have installed is 4.8.1.

So, when installing and accepting to put 4.7.3 so files in ldconfig, QtCreator, QtDesigner, ... don't work anymore.

Uninstalling Marinas and QtCreator, QtDesigner, ... and all work again.

Will Marinas work without accepting ldconfig command and use 4.8.1 libs ?

It seems that you now use the harbour version which is already installed on the computer and it's a good point.

When installing, and accepting the ldconfig, the setup ask for password to install so files in /usr/....
When uninstalling, no password is required. Why not, as it was asked for install, but broken links located in Marinas folder aren't removed, perhaps as the owner is root ?

A+

Hi Massimo,

I have tried marina exe and work fine also if 270 Mb seem very big
marinas has 270MB because it is an complete environment with all products in compatibility state

Can you share your compilation script?
Yes, of course, I can share ALL my scripts, which do you need?

in 32 bit machine is possible have 64 bit library?
Sorry, I don't know.  Marinas has an installer for each platform

Can you add hbide to binary
Sorry, but marinas doesn't use hbide, marinas has your own ide: Marinas-IDE

If you are intrested also to qt5 Here i have recompiled qt5 rc2 for mingw 4.7.2 sjl
https://drive.google.com/a/deltain.net/#folders/0B8GgbIH3gP2WV3VGa2w0QXE2RjQ
see how i do in qtvars.cmd and compila.bat
Many thanks

do you think that upcomimg validator.prg will be used also from Marina gui?

No, marinas-GUI is a framework with is own textbox validator system (look at "textbox" topic in www.marinas-gui.org)

CdQ

many feature like syntax highlight , intellisense, columni mode, auto save and many other  are ready to use in hbide.
Hbide have many incomplete  part (like project wizard and setup formatting ) who give  difficult in using from person different from main developer and is Based on isolated xbp instead of hbqt

Marina ide seem very incomplete for editing and oriented to build without manage hbp
I not see any advantage in using
