Dear QSWAT+ Community,
I hope that you're all doing well.
I'm encountering persistent issues where the SWAT+ Toolbox (Version 3.2) appears to ignore my manual edits to input files, specifically the vegetation parameters of a specific plant (bsvg).
I'm trying to establish a bare soil baseline for the active gully networks in the catchment I'm working on, which requires me to alter the growth parameters of the barren/sparsely vegetated plant group. Despite manually editing the plants.plt file, the output that the model provides me is a static biomass of approximately 17202.400 kg/ha, which in turn suppresses the upland sediment yield that I get for the catchment, which has dispersive soils.
I have:
1. Overrode these parameters: bm_e, lai_pot, lai_max1, can_ht_max, tmp_base, harv_idx_ws , bm_e_hi, bm_tree_acc, and bm_tree_max.
2. Verified these changes within SWAT+ Editor (3.2,1) and resultant output files.
3. However, even with this, SWAT+ Toolbox reverts to giving me a high biomass value, and I'm not sure from where it pulls from, given that the parameters should limit that specific number.
4. I have resorted to manually changing the different parameter values within the plants.plt file, but that still reaps no rewards.
Is there something I'm missing that could be responsible for the biomass value staying static?
Your input and help will be much appreciated.
