Dear all!

In integrating CHIRPS precipitation grid points and ERA5 land grid points for my modeling purposes, I've encountered a dilemma regarding the consistency of station identifiers (ID), names, latitude (LAT), longitude (LONG), and elevation (ELEVATION). Given that the CHIRPS grid is at 0.05-degree resolution and the ERA5 grid is at 0.1-degree resolution, would it be necessary to maintain consistency in these parameters across both datasets? Considering the difference in spatial resolution, how should I approach ensuring data integrity while accommodating these variations in grid resolution?

Hello!
You should pre-process and merge both sources into one final product before uploading into Swat+.
It would be logical to correct/expand the highest-resolution map with the lowest-resolution one (as co-variable).
In any case, it would be a geostatistical issue that you have to solve before using swat.

Regards.
