Dear SWAT+ Team,
I am calibrating daily streamflow using both SWAT+ Toolbox and SWAT+ Editor. When I calibrate my model in SWAT+ Toolbox, the simulated hydrograph changes significantly and closely follows the observed flow with realistic peaks and troughs (NSE ≈ 0.51). However, when I apply the same parameter values in SWAT+ Editor, the simulated hydrograph changes very little and remains much smoother than the observed flow (NSE ≈ 0.32).
Could you please help me understand why the same parameter values produce such different results? Does SWAT+ Toolbox modify additional files or parameters that are not updated in SWAT+ Editor?
Also, why is my simulated flow using SWAT+ Editor much smoother than the observed hydrograph? How can I make the simulated flow better capture the sharp peaks and daily fluctuations observed in the measured data?
I have attached screenshots of the calibration results from both SWAT+ Toolbox and SWAT+ Editor for comparison.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
Best regards,
