Error creating HRUs

Good afternoon everyone,

I recently downloaded the updated version of SWAT + and I have been having trouble creating the HRUs. I have used the same dataset in the past and I have been able to run SWAT+ no problem. However, now I keep getting the error message below. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

The mesage indicates that the value 71 is being read in your soil map,
which suggests it does not contain SSURGO soil values. What does QGIS
say is the range of values in this map? Are you sure you have used the
same one previously?

Hi Chris,

Thank you for your response. Yes, I am using the same soil map I did before. Attached you can find a couple of screen shots of the range that the sols map has when I import it to QGIS and the categories after trying to run the create HRU tool (unsuccessfully). I created the soil file again since the last time I wrote the message, and it still gave me the same error.

Any guidance is appreciated. Please let me know if it would be easier if I send you the files.

It looks like you are applying a lookup table to the SSURGO soil file,
which is not needed: the values in the SSURGO soil map are used directly
as the soil identifiers. Are you choosing the SSURGO option in the
Create HRUs form? This removes the option to use a lookup table.
