You change the channel and stream thresholds independently, so
shortening channels does not automatically shorten streams. Also,
changing stream or channel thresholds will not change the size of the
watershed. The watershed is the area draining to the outlet.
You can improve the accuracy of channels and streams by burning in an
existing map, if you have one.
