Study area overlapping issue

Hi Fellows,

I have downloaded a digital soil map and am using it in QGIS. I need it for HRU creation in QSWAT+. I am using UTM zone 43N for my study area, but the map does not overlap with my study area, despite the projection system for both the digital soil map and my study area being the same. Can somebody help, please?

It is easy in QGIS to assign a projection to a map instead of
reprojecting it. I suspect this may have happened with one of your
maps. Go back to the original sources of your maps, and if they need
reprojecting to UTM make sure that is what you do.
