The watershed I am modeling includes three lakes that drain from north to south exiting out the most southern lake (attached jpeg).  Each lake will be modeled as a reservoir with a main channel connecting each lake and exiting the watershed with additional multiple streams entering each lake (red markers). Its my understanding that in setting up the model I will need to define each stream & channel entering and exiting each lake to properly define the subbasins/HRUs and model the lakes. After looking thru the online documents and searches I'm still unsure of how to properly define the inlets, outlets and reservoir points. As per the docs nothing will be modeled upstream of an inlet so I should just define outlets at each intersection of a stream and a lake to include those subbasins in the model calcs? What is a reservoir point? If a reservoir point should be used where would that be placed? Upstream, downstream, both of reservoir? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just add your lakes with the QSWAT+ interface and most of this work is
done for you. You can mark your lakes as reservoirs by setting their
attributes. See the QSWAT+ manual.
