Hi everyone,

Thank you for your responses so far. I am trying to use SSURGO data, but none of my soil ID’s are in the SSURGO soil tables in the swat_soils.sqlite. My soils are in the area CT602, which is not in the database. I have attached a picture of my soil ID’s, so please excuse my handwriting. I have two questions, one of which I’ve already asked but I want to double check. First, is it possible to use a different soil sqlite database other than the automatic swat_soils.sqlite? The manual on the SWAT page, which I attached, makes it seem like it is. If I convert the SWAT_ US_SSURGO_Soils.gdb found on the global data page to a sqlite, could I use this for my soil database? If this isn’t possible, then I’ll manually input the soils. I have tried to find the required parameters needed in the soil.sol, but all I have to go off is the soil classification, which I found using the link below. Does anyone know of a way to easily access SSURGO data if I have the soil ID’s/MUKEY so I can find the data for the required parameters? I’ve also added a link to the parameters that I am talking about if I wasn’t clear. Also, does someone know which soil parameters are required for calculations? For instance, I’m not sure I will be able to find the anion_excl (Fraction of porosity (void space) from which anions are excluded) or the ec (electrical conductivity).

Thank you!
